My journey...
A little bit about me
I grew up around pregnancy, births, and babies and its always been something that I've loved! With 9 younger siblings, I've had the opportunity to learn a lot about little ones and the process of birth.
As part of a close knit community, I've seen the value of a strong network, especially for new mothers, to provide support and comfort and knowledge in bringing new life into the world.
As I got older I knew I wanted to pursue a career that had to do with all those things. I discussed this with a friend who works as a Doula, she was like "You NEED to be a Doula". I didn't know what a doula was, so I went home and researched. In very little time, I knew that's exactly what I wanted to do!
As a Doula, I have the privilege of helping mothers (and families) through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period, and I can't imagine anything more wonderful!!!
