No, a Doula does not replace anyone. She supports everyone in their own role. A Doula will help the father (or other support person) participate at their own comfort level, Often showing them how and when to use comfort techniques for example, as well as providing information and encouragment.

Do you offer Postpartum support?

Yes! The Postpartum Period is as important as the birth for mother and baby. It is a crucial time for mom and baby to bond, as well as a time of transition and healing for the mother. As a Postpartum Doula, I make sure you are equipped with all the resources you will need for

How early should I hire a Doula?

It is never too early! There is a huge range, and it can be anywhere between the day you find out you're pregnant until right before the birth. For a birth Doula ideally, it would be before seven months gestation so you and your Doula have time to get to know each other well and establish a birth plan.
